BUSHFIRE RELIEF AT YEA COMMUNITY HOUSE

Yea Community House is currently operating as a Community Support Hub, acting as a drop-off and transfer point for essential supplies requested by neighbouring communities that are inaccessible.

UPDATED 26 JANUARY

A large volume of clothing has already been received at Longwood. Due to storage limitations, Yea Community House is not collecting clothing, furniture, household goods, electrical items or bedding at this time.

We’ve had many generous offers of support, and to help coordinate donations effectively, a community-led initiative is now in place. If you have items to donate, please visit and register via the Dindi Directory:   This helps ensure donations are managed and reach the right people. Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly makes a difference. â€‹â€‹

Yea Community House is a community-run organisation and does not receive direct funding for this emergency response from government departments. Our ability to support the community relies on grants, donations and the generosity of individuals.

Financial donations are the most effective way to assist, allowing us to respond quickly and flexibly to changing and urgent needs.

If you are unsure what items are currently required or how best to assist, financial contributions to our Grant Account enable us to source essential supplies as needs arise during the emergency response.
